Varilux Comfort has been the benchmark in varifocal lenses for many years and continues to be the most widely used varifocal design available in the world today.

Thanks to new calculation and surfacing technology Essilor are now able to control the rear surface of the lens, eliminating any additional aberrations resulting from the wearer’s prescription.
Using these techniques, Essilor are able to retain the optimum performance of existing Varilux designs such as Varilux Comfort to ensure the maximum visual performance regardless of the wearer’s prescription.
